We build quality tools.

Whirring is a Denver company founded in 2026 by Michael Rockey and Megan Wooley. The name is the sound of a machine at work.

Our mission is to build quality tools: AI software made with the care of a good tool and owned by the people who use it.

Every product keeps two promises. You own it, and it runs on your own computer first.

We use AI and the cloud every day. We think what an assistant knows about you should be yours to see, change and take with you.

The name and the look come from the machine shop: real tools, plain words and a little 90s nostalgia.

The founders.

Both founders work on Whirring full-time.
